Pastor Cody Humborg

Hello! My name is Cody Humborg and I am currently the pastor at Rocky Mountain Baptist Church in Kalispell, Montana. I am married to the love of my life, Melissa, now for 24 years! We have 6 beautiful children (Tyrell, Noah, Kaleb, Ruby, Jade, and Pearl) here on earth and one perfect son (Toby) in Heaven!

I was born and raised in the small agricultural town of Brewster, WA. It was in that quiet farming community where I attended a little country church, New Testament Baptist Church. The Bible preaching there at New Testament Baptist is what changed my life and future forever! I was saved at the age of 12 and faithfully served God for many years. As a young man, I worked as an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer. However, at the age of 31, God called me out of my HVAC career and into full time ministry.

My wife, Melissa, was raised in church and saved at the young age of 5. As a teen, while at a summer youth camp, God burdened her heart for ministry also! Years later, Melissa and I met in a Baptist youth group and married three years later.

In 2017, God called me to pastor First Baptist Church of Tonasket, WA. Prior to our arrival at First Baptist, the church had dwindled down to 3 faithful people and was in need of a restart. By God’s grace, 8 years later, the church building was full and the Light of Christ was shining bright in Tonasket! To God be the glory!

On January 1, 2025, after praying fervently for five months, God called me to pastor Rocky Mountain Baptist Church in Kalispell, Montana! Knowing how God blessed in Tonasket, we couldn’t wait to see His mighty hand work again at Rocky Mountain Baptist!
